I’m a New England native and California transplant, living life in the Midwest with my husband, rescue dog and two boys. I love exploring Kansas City, traveling to places near and far, trail running, decorating our home and turning over countless rocks to look for bugs. Storytelling is my passion, and I’ve been lucky enough to turn it into my career.
I’m a newspaper reporter turned content strategist. As someone who’s always loved to write, I gravitated toward journalism and got my start at The Salem News in Massachusetts (where I developed a new appreciation for Halloween.) I loved being out in the field, interviewing people, investigating stories and putting into print some pretty amazing experiences.
When newspapers began having financial hardships I pivoted to digital media and fell head first into a startup media culture. My natural curiosity has led me to many different industries including education, emergency medicine, entertainment marketing, lifestyle content and influencer marketing.
My experience managing content at small organizations has given me a unique perspective when it comes to identifying and implementing innovative ideas that meet clients where they are and help move businesses forward. I thrive in an environment that admires autonomy while nurturing collaboration, and I enjoy participating in projects with a collective goal in mind. I value work that contributes to a greater good and strive for the job I do to leave a positive mark. I’m always open to new opportunities!
